This tank cake was made for my nephew! He was so cute when he told his mom, "This was the best birthday ever! I don't even need my friends here, I have my family!" Pretty sweet thing for an 11 year old boy to say!

I made this cake using to sheets (P.C. lg Bar pan). Layered it with frosting, then carved out the shape with a bread knife. For the camouflage affect, I used spray food coloring. It was a lot of fun! The wheels are Oreos and brown licorice. I ran out of licorice because my husband and kids opened the package and started eating it!!

The flag is made out of fondant. (This was my husbands idea!) We made the stripes and stars, then laid them on top another sheet of fondant and carefully rolled them together.

This princess/Barbie cake was made for my niece's 5th birthday. Isn't she a little cutie?

I made this cake using a Pampered Chef Batter Bowl. I baked a chocolate cake in the bowl. Then I baked a white cake for the sheet cake. (again using the P.C. Large Bar Pan) I used Wilton tips, and bags to decorate. The lettering and cut outs are made from fondant.

This monster truck Cake was for my son when he turned two! He still has such a passion for trucks, I don't know what cake I'll make him for his 3rd birthday!

I made this cake using two store bought cake mixes. I baked them on a Pampered Chef Large Bar Pan lined with parchment paper (I did this process twice, once for each cake). When the cakes were cooled I layered them with homemade butter cream frosting. The flags were ordered on line from a party store. The flames were made from tracing a flame pattern onto fondant. All of the colors for the icing is made with Wilton brand coloring gel.

I hope this is helpful. Please feel free to leave your comments and or suggestions.
